    Directions to the chalet

Thonon/Lake Geneva direction (slightly slower route but more scenic)

From the airport follow signs to Geneva centre the route through is a bit slow as there are lots of traffic lights but once out the other side it is usually clear.  As you come to the bridge and the 'famous' fountain follow signs to Evian/Thonon (keep to far left lane over the bridge).  The road then follows the lake all the way to Thonon-Les-Bains here you follow 'Toutes Directions' it takes you around the back of the town until you see signs for Morzine/Avoriaz it is then a case of following the road up the mountain.  After approximately 30 minutes you will pass through a small village St Jean D'Aulps after which you will shortly see a sign and turning for Essert Romand and La Cote D'Arbroz on the right hand side.  Follow the road through the village past the bar La Petite Auberge until you see another sign on the right hand side for La Cote D'Arbroz (Camping 'Les Marmottes' is on your left).  Take this turning and follow the road around the first bend and take the first turning on your left (by the ‘end of Essert Romand’ signpost) into 'La Merive'.  When you come to the u-bend take the turning on the right and follow it up hill and round to the right. Chalet Symphony is the large chalet at the end of the road.  There will probably be a white French minibus outside and Silver 406 Estate

From Cluses/Les Gets direction (Motorway – slightly quicker route)

From the airport you should immediately see signs to ‘FRANCE’ follow this it will take you on to the auto route and through the border control into France.  Follow sings to ‘Chamonix/Mont Blanc/Annemasse.  Keep following signs to Chamonix until you get to junction 18, it will be signposted Morzine/Avoriaz and Les Gets and Taninges.

Follow the signs to Morzine Avoriaz/Les Gets through Cluses the road winds up the hill and then back down to Taninges keep following signs to Morzine – Les Gets.  Once you get to

Les Gets follow signs to Morzine-Avoriaz, which take you around the outskirts of Les Gets.

As you approach Morzine from Les Gets you come to a large u-bend with the Hotel de Savoie on your left hand side and a turning to Morzine on your right.  Continue around the u-bend and follow the road (pass 'Promocash' on your left) until you come to a large sweeping right hand bend.  On the bend there is a signpost to 'Essert Romand' and 'La Cote d'Arbroz' and a narrow turning on your left hand side.  Follow this road until you come to another signpost to 'La Cote d'Arbroz and a turning on your left (Camping Les Marmottes is on your right).  Take this turning and follow the road around the first bend and take the first turning on your left (by the ‘end of Essert Romand’ signpost) into 'La Merive'.  When you come to the u-bend take the turning on the right, follow it up hill to the right and Chalet Symphony is the large chalet at the end of the road.  There will probably be a white French minibus outside and a silver 406 estate.
